Mainstream Disease has been on an eat, sleep, breathe, pray, live music pattern the past few days.
We are currently putting together all our music and working on it’s mastered sound.
wow… all that in one sentence. But really, it involves about two hands full of microphones, stands, setting up and breaking down equipment, getting the levels right, lots of driving, and lots of instrument cables getting in the way….
We also shot a video for a new song that I AM SURE you will love! I’m excited to edit and put it together! I’m even excited to spend hours staring at the computer -_-… Really, I am!
…I can’t even think straight as I write this blog.
We have not had a break or actual sleep. I almost feel like I’m updating a log on a rocket ship on a mission to Saturn.
It’s tough making a living while making life worth living. We’re beat up but not beat…
I will now yell out to myself what I told Benzo during a rainy car ride, IF IT DOESN’T MAKE YOU SWEAT, BLEED and CRY then it’s not worth it!
Okay… time to begin my 2nd attempt on a nights rest!

A big thanks to EVERYONE that came out friday night. From sound check to Denny’s after the show, everyone was so helpful and awsome. Our fans are truly a rare breed!
Playing our set was actually a breathe of fresh air as the first notes were played by Pauline for our opening intro. 
When the cello crept into existence, Franny’s bow had my shoulders feel calm and relaxed while i sat on the piano stool waiting to play the few notes i had on the piano.
When i stood up, and Pauline’s guitar started to strum the 1st power chords that were about to take aim at the crowd, Mike hit his fill and…
BAAAAAAM!!
Music filled the room and Mainstream Disease was in full effect in Canoga Park, California for a room of 49+ fans, family, and friends, as well as some new faces in the crowd.
Words can’t express how humbled we are to have played our music for open ears. Truly, thanks for the love and support.
To those that bought our Acoustic CD and Shirts, we’ll be posting up our Lyrics to those tracks on our blog. Due to the short amount of time we had with work, family, and printing our own cd’s and artwork there wasnt much time to print a small pamphlet of the lyrics to these songs.
Given we all dont want to be bobbing our head to lyrics we dont understand, we’ll be having them up shortly, as well as pictures from that evening.

Friday night at Guitar Merchant on Topanga between Sherman Way and Saticoy. We’ll be playing with 7 other bands that evening. We’ll be going on between 9:30 and 10:00pm.
We’ve got less than 10 tickets left, so contact us if you guys are down to roll through. You can also pay at the door for a few bucks more.
We’re doing our best to finish up our 4 Track Acoustic CD which has 2 songs off of our already written first album The Light and The Darkness and 2 songs off of our next album titled Last Day Alive! which will be available on that night!

Mainstream Disease is looking for a bass player to write, record, and perform with. Creativity and Respect trump skill for us so leave your most complex bass lines at home.
